Your Treatment Plan

Your care begins with a consultation, where we may take 3D scans to assess the exact position and condition of your tooth.

We’ll review your treatment options, discuss anaesthesia, and in some cases, complete the procedure the same day.

The Extraction Process

  • Local anaesthesia or sedation is provided for your comfort
  • A small incision may be made to access the tooth
  • If needed, the tooth is carefully sectioned for safe removal

Our goal is a precise, efficient procedure with minimal discomfort.

Recovery

  • You’ll receive detailed post-operative instructions
  • Most patients experience mild swelling or discomfort for a few days
  • Our team is available if you have any concerns during healing

Tooth Replacement Options

In many cases, we can plan for replacement at the time of extraction.

Immediate dental implant (when appropriate)

Bone grafting to preserve jaw structure

Replacing a missing tooth helps restore both function and appearance, while maintaining long-term oral health.

Types of Anaesthesia

We offer anaesthesia options to keep you as comfortable as possible during your surgical procedure.

Local Anaesthesia

Lidocaine is injected through a needle and temporarily numbs a small area, preventing nerves from communicating pain sensations to the brain. Patients remain awake and do not feel pain during treatment.

IV Sedation

IV procedural sedation puts the patient into a sleep-like state. Our team of doctors, Registered Nurses and surgical assistants closely monitors all vital signs throughout treatment, and the patient will remain comfortable until the procedure is over. Patients must have an adult remain at the clinic during the procedure and take them home after the surgery.
